Im trying to figure out what a top-down impact is in an ecology class.
The questions is : If urbanization causes the disappearance of top level predators. what would the top-down impact be?
The topdown impact of that top level of that top level of consumers is wiped.
The system would grow too large or there would grow too large or there would be food shortage eventually the system would grow too large or there would be food shortage eventually the system would grow in population equilibrium this can take long time though basically it just means that would grow too large or there would be food shortage.
